FISHERSVILLE, Va.– Augusta County Sheriff’s Office Deputies are working to gather information about a shooting at a nursing home.
According to WHSV, around 11 a.m. Saturday morning, Deputies responded to a 911 call at Shenandoah Nursing & Rehab located on the 300 block of Westminister Drive in Fishersville.
When Deputies arrived they found an 83-year-old female and an 84-year-old male dead from an apparent murder–suicide.
Deputies have not yet released the named of the victims but say that the shooting is family oriented.
