COLONIAL HEIGHTS, Va. — Police arrested a Chesterfield man in connection with several business robberies in Colonial Heights. Daniel F. Mullins, 22, has been charged with Armed Robbery, Grand Larceny and Possession of a Controlled Substance, according to Colonial Heights Police. Addition charges were pending, police added. Mullins’ robbery spree began on December 27, investigator said.
During that December 27 robbery, someone walked into the Corner Mart Exxon on Boulevard in Colonial Heights armed with a knife. The robber wore a Nike stocking cap, a blue mask, black jacket, black gloves and dark pants while committing the crime.
The robber walked away with cash from the gas station store. No one was injured during the robbery.
Police have not yet set what led investigators to Mullins. Mullins is being held at the Riverside Regional Jail with no bond.
