CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va.– A brush fire caused delays for travelers on Interstate 95N in Chesterfield, Sunday afternoon.
Fire crews closed the the right and center lanes near mile marker 57 (south of Woods Edge Rd.) to battle the fire on the side of the highway.
Around 1:20p.m., there was a 5 mile backup in the area, according to VDOT officials,
All lanes have since been reopened
No word yet on what exactly cause the fire.
