CBS-6 Sports has learned that Latrell Scott will be named the new Head Coach at Norfolk St. University. A press conference has been set for Tuesday morning at 11am.
Scott went 19-4 in two years with the Trojans, including a perfect 15-0 record in the CIAA. VSU make school history this season by advancing to the second round of the NCAA Division II playoffs for the first time.
He replaces Pete Adrian, who resigned after 10 seasons with the Spartans winning a MEAC title in 2011.
Norfolk State went 4-8 this year.
