HENRICO COUNTY, Va. — Henrico High School students will be dismissed at 1 p.m. after a power outage knocked out heat, phone and internet access to the high school.

“With that and today’s cold temperatures in mind, we are dismissing students early. Dismissal will take place at 1 p.m. after students are given an opportunity to eat lunch,” Henrico Schools spokesman Andy Jenks said. “All students, including Center students, will be offered transportation to their normal bus stops. We will inform you later this evening whether or not we are able to open Henrico High School on Wednesday.”

This is a developing story.
