PRINCE GEORGE COUNTY, Va. — The Interstate 295 ramp at mile marker nine (Oaklawn Blvd/Route 36 west) was closed for about an hour Monday due to police activity, VDOT reported Monday morning.
Neighbors along Cousins Avenue in Hopewell reported hearing gun shots and seeing multiple police cars in their neighborhood.
The ramp reopened at about 12:20 p.m.
