LOS ANGELES — Fans of the 1990s sitcom Full House may soon have reason to rejoice. Warner Bros. TV is considering bringing a new version of the old hit show back to television, according to a report on TVGuide.com.

Actor John Stamos along with the show’s original producer and creator are behind the effort, the report indicated. Co-stars like Bob Saget, who played Danny Tanner, Dave Coulier, who played cousin Joey, Candace Cameron, who played D.J. Tanner and Jodie Sweetin, who played Stephanie Tanner are also reportedly involved.

Twin sisters Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, who split time in the role of youngest daughter Michelle Tanner, were not mentioned in the article. The Olsen twins used Full House as a springboard to launch a movie career and later their own fashion line.

The twins were not present when the cast reunited two years ago to celebrate the show’s 25th anniversary.
