No charges filed after chain-reaction crash does damage

RICHMOND, Va. --  Several people woke up Thursday to find their cars and SUVs badly damaged. Richmond Police were called to the 1600 block of N. 31st Street in east Richmond at about 1:30 a.m.

There police found a woman inside a wrecked Jeep Liberty. The Liberty crashed into one vehicle, which crashed into another. In all, four vehicles were left with damage.

No one was seriously injured.

Police said the woman who caused the accident would not be charged because it was likely triggered by a medical situation.

The accident closed N. 31st Street temporarily early Thursday morning. The road has since reopened.
