RICHMOND, Va. – Police are are investigating a violent home invasion in Richmond Thursday night.
It happened here in the 2300 block of Cecil Road near Virginia Union University.
Police said two people broke into a home around 11:30 p.m. and tried robbing the person inside.
Police said that when the homeowner did not comply, he was pistol-whipped.
CBS 6 is told the victim was not seriously injured and did not know the suspects.
