CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. -- Almost a month has passed since anyone has seen Zulma Pabon, a mother and nurse.
"There is a lot of fear here" says Jessie Johnson, outside her home in the Greenleigh Mobile Home Community.
Johnson lives just a couple of blocks from where Pabon's car was found on June 16.
The car was found exactly one week after the 26-year-old mother was reported missing, after failing to show up for work at St. Francis Hospital.
Johnson says now the unanswered questions and lack of arrest have parents keeping a close eye on their children.
"They don't have the freedom they use to have at all anymore," Johnson said. "Now I'm worried every time they walk around, especially if they want to go to their friends house after it gets dark, I don't allow it anymore."
Police say they are still looking for leads in the case.
Sources tell CBS 6 detectives and forensics spent several hours at Pabon's home on Terrace Arbor Circle last week.
Her sister previously said that there’s no way Pabon would just up and leave without taking her four-year-old son.
Chesterfield police said there is no history of domestic calls at the address and no indication that Pabon has ever disappeared before.
