HENRICO, Va. – A motorcyclist led police on a pursuit early Saturday morning.
According to Henrico police, around 5:19a.m., a motorcycle was seen speeding on I-64 east bound near Nine Mile Rd. When officers attempted to stop the motorcycle, the driver failed to stop and attempted to flee. A vehicle pursuit was initiated. The driver traveled south on I-295, crossed the Varina – Enon Bridge near Chesterfield and voluntarily stopped. The driver, James Markle Jr., of Henrico County, is charged with: Felony Eluding police, Reckless Driving, and operating a motorcycle without a Class M endorsement.
