THE PHILIPPINES – Weeks before he was to marry his “one true love,” Rowden Go was diagnosed with terminal liver cancer. Doctors did not give Go, 29, much time to live.
His dying wish was to marry his love Leizl May.
“After 12 hours of preparations, his dream was fulfilled,” Go’s brother Hasset wrote on YouTube. “Unable to take him outside the hospital, we brought the church to him. It was like a heartbreaking fairytale.”
Go passed away on June 11, less than 10 hours after he said his vows.
Video of the hospital wedding has been viewed more than 5 million times since it was posted June 18.
“Our family would like to thank the Main Man up above, Jesus Christ, for orchestrating this very inspiring story,” Hasset Go wrote. “And for giving us enough time to give Rowden what he wanted, and show him how loved he was.”
