LOUSIA COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) – Kayla Sieg, 14, was found unharmed Thursday morning, according to the Louisa County Sheriff’s Office.

A tip from a concerned citizen led investigators to Sieg.

“At approximately 6:30 a.m., the runaway female juvenile, Kayla Sieg, was located unharmed and after being interviewed was returned to the custody of her parents,” Louisa Sheriff’s investigator posted on Facebook. “The male juvenile, [name redacted], she was accompanied by, was also located and taken into custody on a petition and detention order, and was transported to and is being held at the Rappahannock Juvenile Detention Center.”

Before Thursday’s discovery, Sieg was last seen May 11. Investigators issued an alert this week for information on her whereabouts.
