RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – More than 20 years after it helped launched the career of the Virginia-based Dave Matthews Band, their debut album Remember Two Things is being made available on vinyl for the very first time. Portions of the album were recorded live at the now defunct Flood Zone in Richmond’s Shockoe Bottom.

“The two-LP, 180-gram deluxe audiophile release will be cut from new lacquers, prepared by Chris Bellman at Bernie Grundman Mastering,” according to a state from Legacy Recordings. “The vinyl release will feature the original album packaged in an individually numbered gatefold jacket and include a new eight-page booklet with full lyrics and rare and previously unpublished photos of the band.”

The vinyl release will be available on June 17. Remember Two Things was first released on November 9, 1993.

A CD or MP3 version of Remember Two Things Remember Two Things plus Live Trax Vol. 30, a compilation of live recordings from three 1993 nights at The Muse in Nantucket, are available for pre-order here.
