RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) — As winter weather begins to impact Richmond, Dominion Power reported over 9,000 customers were without power Sunday night.
As of 10:14 p.m., 9,233 customers were without power in the city.
Dominion Power told CBS 6 that two problems caused the outages.
The first incident involved a voltage reduction issue that affected about 3500 customers.
The second issue happened after a power pole caught on fire. That impacted up to 5,000 customers. Their power was supposed to be restored by 11 p.m.
