RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – After a clear, cold start to your Monday, you’ll notice high clouds streaming over us through the day ahead of an approaching storm system.
Scroll through these forecast graphics from the CBS 6 Storm Team.
That approaching disturbance will swing over the Mid-Atlantic late Monday night through sunrise Tuesday. I expect a winter mix in the Commonwealth, with snow in the northwest third of the state, a mix of snow, sleet and freezing rain in the central third (including the Richmond Metro), and rain in the southeast third of the state.
