HANOVER, Va. (WTVR) -- Hanover Fire and EMS sent specially trained firefighters to rescue two dogs stuck in an icy pond.
Crews were able to help two dogs make it out of the pond along Mountain Road on Saturday. One firefighter entered the frigid water on a ladder and was able to grab one of the dogs.
The other dog also made his way out and is doing well.
