Wheelchair stolen from Chesterfield home

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) – Who stole a wheelchair from behind a Chesterfield County home? Police hope to get some tips to help them solve the crime.

“The item stolen was a blue, Top End brand basketball wheelchair,” detectives with Chesterfield County/Colonial Heights Crime Solvers wrote in an email. “The chair was used for racing and basketball, but stored in the shed during off seasons.”

The shed is behind a home on Rainwater Rd. in the Huntingcreek Hills subdivision.

Detectives said the crime happened sometime between Wednesday, Dec. 4 and Thursday, Dec. 5.
