PETERSBURG, Va. (WTVR) – A $1 million Powerball ticket was sold in Petersburg. The ticket, which matched the first five numbers but missed on the Powerball number, was sold at Raceway at 2058 County Drive, according to the Virginia Lottery.

“The winning numbers for the December 14 Powerball drawing were 14-25-32-33-41, and the Powerball number was 34. The ticket bought in Petersburg was one of just three nationwide to match the first five numbers in Saturday’s drawing, and the only one in Virginia,” lottery officials wrote in a statement.

The winner has 180 days to come forward and claim the prize.

Tuesday night’s Mega Millions drawing has grown to an estimated $550 million.
