HOPEWELL, Va. (WTVR) -- Hopewell police are investigating an armed robbery that happened Saturday night at the Walgreen's in the 3900 block of Oaklawn Blvd.
According to police, two suspects entered the store just after 10 p.m. and approached the cash register, while a third suspect remained outside.
The first suspect brandished a handgun and demanded money from the clerk, while the second suspect robbed an unsuspecting customer that approached the register.
The first suspect is described as a black male with a medium complexion, 30-40 years old, between 5 feet 6 inches tall to 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing between 160-170 lbs. The suspect had a grey mustache and was last seen wearing a dark colored zip-up hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, dark colored shoes, white gloves, with a dark colored handgun.
The second suspect is described as a black male with a light complexion, 17-20 years old, between 5 feet 5 inches tall and 5 feet six inches tall and weighing between 140-150 lbs. He was last seen wearing a dark colored jacket with a grey sweatshirt, light blue jeans and grey sneakers.
The third suspect is described as a black male, between 5 feet 7 inches tall and 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing between 140-150 lbs. He was last seen wearing a dark colored jacket/ hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.
