3 arrested after Chesterfield bank robbery

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) – Police arrested three men after a Chesterfield bank robbery. The Union First Market Bank on Midlothian Turnpike near Southlake Boulevard was robbed around 10:30 a.m.

“Police were able to locate a suspect vehicle in the area of Courthouse Road and Edenberry Drive, where an officer initiated a traffic stop. The vehicle did not stop, and a short pursuit ensued,” Chesterfield Police wrote in a statement. “The suspect vehicle then stopped and two of its three occupants fled on foot. Within minutes, all three suspects were apprehended.”

Charges are pending against suspects Anthony T. Walton, 28, of Richmond; Jamal Walton, 25, of Meherrin, Va.; and Charles Westbrook, 29, of no known address, police said.
