RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – Police responded to reports of a shooting along the 700 block of Southgate Street in South Richmond.
The shooting victim was shot in the leg and suffered non-life threatening injuries, police said. Police have not yet said if any arrests were made, nor the motive behind the shooting.
The shooting happened near the intersection of Walmsley Boulevard and Jeff Davis Highway about 6:49 a.m.
