RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – AMC, the network that brought you “Breaking Bad,” “Mad Men” and “The Walking Dead,” is in Richmond shooting a new television series and looking for actors to fill background roles.

“The background actors are profoundly important to the filmmaking process,” Erica Arvold, casting director for the show “Turn,” said in a statement. “The show takes place during the Revolutionary War and background actors contribute to the atmosphere of that era.”

While the roles do not have speaking lines, Arvold said a professional attitude and commitment is required.

Filming takes place on weekdays through March 2014.

The casting office is seeking:

  • Men and women of all ages
  • Long hair a plus
  • People who can accurately portray those from the Revolutionary War.
