HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) – Five people were hurt in a head-on collision Wednesday along New Market and Kingsland Roads in the eastern part of Henrico.
“Preliminary investigation of the crash reveals that a Saturn 4-door sedan was turning from Kingsland Rd onto west bound New Market Rd. and was struck by a Toyota Pickup truck that was traveling east bound on New Market Rd.,” Henrico Police Lt. A. D. Merz wrote in an email. “Two adult females in the Saturn are listed in serious condition. Two juveniles in the Saturn was transported with non-life threatening injuries. The driver of the Toyota truck was also transported with serious injuries.”
The accident, which was reported about 1:03 p.m., closed the road for more than two hours. Henrico Police continue to investigate the crash.
