CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) – The woman accused of crashing a car into a Chesterfield County church is now charged with reckless driving.
One person was killed in the crash.
Hui Kyong Maxwell, 62, was driving south on Hopkins Rd. Monday, Sept. 2, when her vehicle ran off the road and struck the Korean Baptist Church, according to Chesterfield Police. Pyong Kil Kang, 75, of Sunnyvale, Calif., died at the hospital.
Police said “driver fatigue” played a role in this crash.
