HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) – The Red Cross is helping two people whose home caught fire early Friday morning. Both people made it out of the home unharmed.

“It was a small fire, but big enough to call Red Cross,” Henrico Fire Capt. Jim Mellon said.

While the exact cause of the fire at the house along the 4200 block of Fayette Cir. remained under investigation, early reports indicated it appeared the fire was caused due to an electrical issue.

Fire crews were called to the home about 4:30 a.m. It took firefighters about 13 minutes to bring the fire under control.
