SUFFOLK, Va. (WTVR) – The Newport News mother arrested after police found her children locked in a Suffolk trailer said her kids are her life.
Speaking from jail, 23-year-old Jaronda Rena Wilson said she had not done anything wrong. Police charged Wilson with two counts of Abuse and Neglect of Children, Reckless Disregard and two counts of Cruelty and Injuries to Children this week after officers found her two crying children alone in a chained and padlocked camper.
