Brothers arrested in Chesterfield robberies

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) – Police arrested a pair of Chesterfield brothers in connection with two county robberies.

Police said Allen Anderson, 45, robbed the Marketplace at 7933 Jefferson Davis Highway the morning of Feb. 4, 2013.

Investigators said he robbed the Tobacco Hut at 11968 Iron Bridge Plaza later that same evening.

Anderson showed a gun and demanded money inside both stores, police said. No one was injured in either robbery.

He is charged with two counts each of robbery, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony and possession of a firearm by a subject found not guilty by means of insanity.

Anderson’s brother Ralph, 47, is accused of being his little brother’s getaway driver at the the Tobacco Hut, according to Chesterfield Police Lt. Randy Horowitz. Ralph Anderson is charged with robbery and conspiracy to commit a felony in relation to the incident at the Tobacco Hut.

The Anderson brothers, who live together on South General Boulevard, are being held without bond in separate jails.
