RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – It took Richmond fire crews 10 to 15 minutes to bring a Monday morning fire under control on West Cary Street, according to Richmond Fire Department spokesman Lt. Robbie Hagaman. Hagaman said they got the call after someone saw smoke coming from a second-floor apartment.
The apartment, along the 1300 block of West Cary Street, sits next to Little Mexico restaurant.
Investigators have not yet determined what started the fire.
