HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) – Henrico Police Animal Protection is reminding pet owners to be sure their pets are up to date on their rabies vaccinations.
This week animal control officers found a rabid raccoon in the 1600 block of Forest Glen Road in northern Henrico. Two dogs who made contact with the raccoon were current on their rabies vaccination and will be quarantined for 45 days, police said.
