PETERSBURG, Va. (WTVR) – Walnut Hill Elementary School in Petersburg will open one hour late Tuesday morning. Petersburg Schools spokeswoman Nicole Bell said an accident involving a trash truck knocked out power to the area.
Walnut Hill Elementary is the only school impacted by the outage and the only school opening late.
