WASHINGTON, D.C. (WTVR) – The Washington Redskins defeated the Dallas Cowboys 28 -18 Sunday night at FedEx Field. With the win, the Redskins won the NFC East and secured the team’s first home playoff game since 1999.

Against the Cowboys, the Redskins did most of their damage on the ground. Rookie running back Alfred Morris rushed 33 times for 200 yards and three touchdowns. Rookie quarterback Robert Griffin III connected on just nine passes for 100 yards.

The Redskins open the playoffs Sunday afternoon, at home, against the Seattle Seahawks.

The Seahawks are led at quarterback by Richmond-native Russell Wilson.
