HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) - A Henrico woman has been charged after her car drove into a West End dialysis center hitting two people inside. Sara Clark, 49, is charged with involuntary manslaughter, DUI, DWI and reckless driving in a parking lot, according to Henrico Police arrest records.

On July 9, 2012, Clark's car drove into the lobby of the DaVita Dialysis Clinic on the corner of Three Chopt and Eastridge Roads.

The car hit two people, according to police. One of those people, 61-year-old Barbara Carney-Clarke, died.

The younger sister of Carney-Clarke, Cornelia Hopkins, told CBS 6 Reporter Jerrita Patterson she forgives the woman accused of killing her older sister.  But Hopkins and the rest of her family are still pushing for justice.

"The hardest part is basically the waiting," Hopkins said.  "My sister is gone.  I am not going to get those phone calls anymore.  I am not going to see her laugh or smile anymore, that was the hardest part--it really has been.  And there is a little bit of anger there also because it has taken so long to bring this woman to justice."

Sara Mateer Clark appeared before a judge Friday morning, who granted her a $5,000 secured bond.  Upon her release she will be monitored by Henrico's Community Correction's Program.

Clark's next court date is set for December 11, 2012.
