POWHATAN COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) – A power outage in Powhatan County has closed two school.
Both Flat Rock Elementary and Powhatan High School are closed for the day.
Dominion said nearly 300 customers lost power when a power line came down around 6:15 a.m.
The power company was not sure what caused the line to come down, nor did it know when power would be restored.
