(CNN) – President Obama and Mitt Romney faced off on the political stage last night. And certain things they said sent debate-watchers running for the internet.

CNN political reporter Peter Hamby crunched the numbers — and here are the top five Google searches, during the debate:

  1. Obama’s memorable “horses and bayonets”
  2. Syria
  3. Mali
  4. drones
  5. the oft-repeated Romney word, “tumult.”
