RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) - The City of Richmond is making an effort to clean up areas of the city. The new program launched Monday in the Carver and Fan neighborhoods.
A $250,000 grant will help fund the clean-up of sidewalks, tree wells and utility poles. Crews will also be on the lookout for graffiti and broken signs or lights, while trimming brushes and trees.
The Residential Parking District Clean Sweep Program is meant to enhance the cleanliness of the areas and overall look of the city.
