HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) – Shackleford’s Restaurant & Raw Bar announced on its Facebook page that the restaurant would be closing on Monday, October 29.
“After proudly serving the Richmond community for 19 years, Shackleford’s Restaurant & Raw Bar will permanently close operations,” A. Kirk Poore wrote on the restaurant’s Facebook page. “I would like to personally thank the countless patrons for your support since 1993.”
Richmond.com reported Poore decided to close the restaurant to spend more time with his family.
In his Facebook post, Poore said he hoped “all of us associated with Shackleford’s” would spend the month celebrating its “extraordinary run.”
