Woman hit with paint can following loud music complaint

RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – Police are looking for the person who hit a Richmond woman in the head with a can of spray paint during a fight over loud music.

The woman was playing music from a car along the 200 block of North Foushee Street around 2:00 a.m. Monday when a group approached her and told her to turn down the volume, according to Richmond Police.

When the woman refused, another woman hit her in the head with the spray paint can. The suspect and two men then spray painted the victim’s car, police said.

The woman suffered a cut to her head. Police have not yet released an update on the woman’s injuries nor descriptions of the suspects.
