Police seek gun-pointing, fast food restaurant robber

RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – Richmond Police released a picture of the man who robbed a Chamberlayne Ave. Captain D’s restaurant last month. Police hoped someone would see the picture, recognize the man and call detectives with a tip.

Police said on  July 14, 2012, around 11:00 p.m., the man in the picture walked into the restaurant, jumped the counter and grabbed money from the registers.

Police described the robber as a medium-complected black male, approximately 5’8” to 6’1” feet tall, with a thin build and beard. Police said he was last seen wearing a black baseball cap, stockings over his face, black gloves, a baggy black t-shirt with a white seam running from the neck down the shoulders to the end of the sleeve, baggy khaki pants and black work boots.
