GOOCHLAND COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) – One person was killed in an early morning crash along Route 6, Goochland County Sheriff James Agnew confirmed to CBS 6. Sheriff Agnew said the accident occurred around 5:50 a.m., near Route 623 (Hockett Road).
Agnew said the driver died when the vehicle ran off the road and hit a tree.
Deputies have identified the victim and are in the process of notifying next of kin.
Agnew said the victim was alone in the car at the time of the accident.
