FAIRFIELD COUNTY, S.C. (WIS) – Police in South Carolina said they found some of the largest marijuana plants they’ve ever seen. A State Law Enforcement Division helicopter found the plants while flying over Fairfield County, South Carolina this week.

Officials said they found 631 plants, some with stalks that were three-inches in diameter. Investigators had to use ATV’s to get the plants out of the woods.

Police also found a camp site nearby where they think the growers were staying.

No arrests have been made.
