Man arrested after Armed Robbery

HANOVER COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) — Thursday night around 10:30 p.m., the Hanover Sheriff’s office responded to an armed robbery of a convenience store on the 8100 block of Atlee Rd.

By the time deputies and investigators arrived, the suspect had already ran away with an undisclosed amount of cash. However, they did manage to gather an accurate description of the suspect.

The information was then passed along to nearby Memorial Regional Medical Center. Approximately fifteen minutes later, a security officer at the hospital spotted the suspect and notified the Sheriff’s Office. He was then taken in custody after deputies stopped the vehicle he was riding in.

Timothy R. Pryor, 32, was arrested in connection of the robbery. He now face charges of robbery and grand larceny. Pryor is being held without bond until a hearing scheduled for September.
