FORT LEE, Va. (WTVR) – The death of a Fort Lee soldier found Monday morning in his barracks is under investigation, Fort Lee Public Affairs Officer Stephen Baker wrote in an email to CBS 6.
Fort Lee had not yet released the soldier’s name. The army was still in the process of notifying next of kin.
Military police and Fort Lee emergency personnel were notified about the soldier’s body around 8:00 a.m. Monday.
