GLEN ALLEN, Va. (WTVR) – President Obama delivered his campaign speech in the rain Saturday afternoon at Walkerton Tavern in Glen Allen, Virginia.
The President, scheduled to speak around 1:00 p.m., took the stage just before 12:15 p.m. as rain fell on an estimated 900 supporters who attended the outdoor event.
“I’m wrapping up. Everyone is wet anyway so it does not matter,” President Obama said as a second round of rain fell on the crowd. “It’s too late. Those hair-dos are all gone.”
