RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) - A natural gas leak between Franklin and Grace Streets prompted the evacuation of 11 buildings along and near the 800 block of Franklin Street.
Investigators told CBS 6 a construction crew hit the gas line around 1:30 Thursday afternoon.
Firefighters said no one was injured and city crews were able to turn off the gas.
The scene was cleared by 2:30 p.m.
