RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – Former New York City Mayor and Republican presidential candidate Rudy Giuliani is coming to Central Virginia. Giuliani will be in town Friday to attend a Mitt Romney campaign event, said Lt. Governor Bill Bolling’s Director of Communications Ibbie Hedrick. Lt. Governor Bolling is the state chairman of Romney’s campaign.

The event is scheduled for Friday morning at 2819 N. Parham Road Suite 230.

President Obama is scheduled several campaign spots in Virginia this week, though no scheduled stops in the Richmond area.

Hedrick said more details about Friday’s event would be released later this week. The Washington Post reported Giuliani would attend the grand opening of Henrico County’s Republican headquarters.
