Cloud cover has hung tough across the state today as a coastal low continues to move south along the Mid-Atlantic coast.
Expect more sunshine on Friday, but temperatures will still remain below normal as northeasterly flow continues over the area. Father's Day weekend will be mostly sunny and warm, with cool nights and highs in the low 80s each day.
An upper-level ridge of high pressure will build into the region next week, bringing more typical June heat to the region. The prospect for rain continues to look bleak, and I've left all rain chances less than 20% for the next 7 days.
There are currently no tropical disturbances in the Atlantic Basin.
