RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – Virginia Commonwealth University sent out a VCUalert Friday morning after an armed robbery was reported near campus.
According to the alert, a man was robbed while walking along the 600 block of West Grace Street around 2:20 a.m. Friday.
The alert indicated two men in a purple Ford Crown Victoria or Mercury Marquis spotted the victim walking east on West Grace Street. One of the suspects, described as a black man , 5’8″ tall with a heavy build wearing a red shirt with a white undershirt and red pants, flashed a gun and demanded the victim’s property.
The victim handed over money, the alert indicated, and the suspects drove off.
