HENRICO COUNTY, Va. (WTVR) – Police made a second arrest in the May 11 shooting death of 21-year-old JaJuan Munford.
Richmond police officers picked up Andre Mattox, 21, during a Friday night traffic stop on Accommodation Street.
Last week Henrico police named Mattox a “person of interest” in Munford’s shooting death. Mattox is charged with possession of a firearm by felon, according to a press release from Henrico police spokeswoman Lt. Linda Toney.
Munford was shot and killed May 11 outside Phully Loaded Studios – a recording studio in the county’s West End. [Read more]
Studio owner James Brayboy said he was inside the venue when an argument broke out behind the studio.

For a moment Brayboy said the fighting stopped, but then resumed.
“It went from zero to 60,” explained Brayboy. “I put them out and the doors were locked, they were outside.”
Brayboy said after several people were escorted out, three or four gun shots rang out.
Last week police arrested Ernest Shavez Pressley, of the 1200 block of N. 30th Street, also in connection to the crime.
Pressley was charged with possession of firearm by a felon, related to the murder of Munford, said police. [Read more]
