RICHMOND, Va. (WTVR) – Scattered showers, sometimes heavy, continue to track northeast at 20-25 mph through central Virginia this morning. There are occasional lightning strikes, but the main threat is the heavy rainfall that can obscure your visibility while driving and pose a hydroplaning potential.
A cold front will move through the area from the west this afternoon at the same time the remnants from Beryl approach from the south. (Click here for the latest information on Beryl).
